The matting is a good quality. There were a few straggling pieces where it was cut. They were easy to pull off & correct though, without damaging the matting. It seemed like the mattboard was just cut with a dull blade is all. This was my first order, but I doubt they come that way often given the quality of the packaging for shipping.
